How do I start my order?

Are you taking standing/prepaid orders right now for our business/cafe?
Presently due to COVID-19, we are not. Our entire ordering system is on our website, where we can control orders, limits of staff, and safe money exchanges. However, we are willing to discuss what your needs are and see if they fit into our safety plan.
Can I pre-order catering and pay for it?
It depends. If you need a dozen bagels or two and a lox platter, we would recommend you order online. You can expect a delivery 1 hour from when you place it. If you have an order for 20 to 30 sandwiches, we would appreciate a phone call before you place the order online. For anything larger, say 5 dozen bagels or 30 plus sandwiches, we would need a day in advance. Please email at wholesale@gothambagels.com or call us at 608-467-7642.
What is your delivery range?
Our $9 delivery charge covers The City of Madison.
Outside of city limits are as follows:
- Middleton, WI $15.00
- Sun Prairie, WI $15.00
- Anywhere else: Please call or email us.
Can I change my order once it's been placed?
We are usually able to accommodate changes made at least five days before your event. Let us know when submitting your order if you anticipate making any adjustments. Please note that we consider all orders final four days before the scheduled event date and are not able to make any changes after this time.
I am perusing your website and I do not see something I’ve ordered from you in the past. How can I find out if it is still available?
Since COVID-19, we have been limited with our staff scheduling. Thus, we have simplified our menu. However, we can make almost anything you have ordered from us previously with 24hr notice, except of course if we rolled Sushi for you or roasted a whole pig in the past. 😊
How many bagels feed ___ number of people?
Generally we feel the bagel ratio for adults should be about 10 bagels for 12 adults, provided you slice them and arrange. We would hate to give you too much unless you don’t mind, and we would hate to short you.
How much lox generally feeds ___ people?
We usually figure one pound of lox will feed 12 to 15 people, unless you are very familiar with the tastes of your group (ie, vegans, family members)
I ordered ___ bagels, how much Cream cheese will I need?
We recommend 1 pound of cream cheese per dozen.
I want coffee with my bagels!
You're in luck! We've got coffee service for $12 starting at $25. This includes coffee, cups, cream and sugar.
What if I need more fixings?
We've got plenty of bagel and sandwich fixings. Add on tomato, arugula, red onion, capers, butter, mustard or mayo for $1.75 a person.
What if I need tableware?
Plates, napkins and plasticware are available for $0.75 a person.
Do you ship bagels overnight?
Yes, we ship anywhere in the world, Monday to Friday. We add on the shipping fees directly. If your order requires refrigeration, we pass along the cost for ice-packs, insulated containers, etc.
Do you have vegan platters?
Yes!
Are your Bagels Vegan?
Yes, EXCEPT the Egg Bagels.
Do you have nuts or other allergens in your Bagels OR Cream cheese?
We do not use Peanuts in the processing of our bagels. However, we do have walnuts in our Big City Coffee Cake and our Walnut/Raisin Cream cheese.
Do you have Gluten-Free Bagels?
Unfortunately we don't.

How do I start my order?
Everything we currently offer at each location is displayed on our online ordering website, as well as our delivery radius. We offer online ordering during our hours of operation, 8am-2pm. We have a scheduled order option available online; you can place your order with up to 60 days in advance!
If you have questions about extra-large catering orders, please call your preferred location ahead of time to talk more or email chicago@gothambagels.com and we'll get back to you ASAP.
Are you taking standing orders right now for businesses, restaurants, and cafes?
Yes! Please reach out to chicago@gothambagels.com if you are looking to consistently order Gotham for your workplace. We are willing to discuss what your needs are and to see if they fit into our operation! We don't offer wholesale at this time.

Are your Bagels Vegan?
All bagel flavors are vegan EXCEPT the egg, egg everything, honey whole wheat, honey whole wheat everything, and asiago.
Do you have nuts or other allergens in your bagels OR cream cheese?
All items processed in facilities that also process milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, and soy. Due to current health and safety protocols, we unfortunately may not be able to accommodate dietary restrictions and/or allergies at this time.
Do you have gluten-free bagels?
Nope!
